‘Honderd keer ja in Kathmandu – In Kathmandu traden gisteren 100 Nepalese stellen volgens de hindoeïstische rituelen in het huwelijk. De stellen vertegenwoordigen alle kasten uit de maatschappij. De massaceremonie was een initiatief van de Radna Krishna Foundation, die hiermee het hindoeïstische eenheidsgevoel en de hindoeïstische cultuur in Nepal wil bevorderen.’

KATHMANDU, FEB 08 – In a major shift from the ruling parties’ position on constitution writing, Prime Minister Sushil Koirala on Sunday invited the agitating parties for talks without further delay and to seek consensus on the disputed issues of the constitution writing process.
Koirala appealed to the UCPN (Maoist), Madhes-based parties and other fringe parties to return to the negotiating table. He called the parties to initiate talks immediately to find consensus on the disputes.
